Yes, it’s true. This gal is turning 30 very soon (in September). Some of you who are older are saying “you’re so young”, but it’s a major chapter for me. In some ways, it feels like I was just a teenager, and then turning 20. I can still remember 25 because I was engaged!! All in all, it’s been a great run thus far. God has taught me many lessons (some more difficult than others). When I had just turned 20 I always dreaded my next birthday because I was “getting older”. I hope that through my 30′s I can enjoy them in stride and share all of the ways that my life is brighter.

God has given me an amazing man. He’s my better half by far. He has been super creative in celebrating my birthday this year. He has made a game of sorts, if you will. For the next 30 days I will get a gift of some sort. I loved it yesterday he had texted me in the morning and said did you find your gift? I had no idea what he was talking about. So he told me to look on the front porch and this is what I had found.

One day at Starbucks I told Zack that I fell in love with Chai tea in Africa

Then, day 2, it was “P.S. I Love You”, which I’ve been raving about since I saw the first preview.
